At the same time that Helen and Kevin were planning their wedding they were also planning to move house. So Helen says the main reason they chose Patchwork as a gift list was its flexibility.
“Our plan is to move down to Cornwall but while Kevin still has his property up for sale we’re not sure exactly when we will move.”
Using our site meant Helen and Kevin could show friends and family a mix of gift ideas for their new country home that they could buy once they’d made the move – things that couldn’t easily be stored or transported like chickens and logs and treats for their dogs!
Helen and Kevin are now happily married and are hoping to make to move to Cornwall very soon. Then once they’ve settled in they’ll use the money they’ve collected to buy a few unique gifts for the home and some new feathered friends.
Helen says they loved using our site because “it was the perfect vehicle for us to purchase personal and lasting gifts for our new home together, gifts that we can see every day, and will remind us of the people who bought them for us.
