Tell us a bit about fforest farm and what makes it so special.
The 200 acres of fforest farm are part of an area of unspoilt natural beauty, wrapped in woods, wildlife and wonder. The farm is flanked on one side by the Teifi Marshes nature reserve and on the other, Cilgerran gorge, through which the magnificent river Teifi flows down to the local town of Cardigan and the Irish sea beyond.

People, produce, place, design & comfort.
What’s your favourite feature and why?
It’s too hard to pin it down to one! The flexibility of our spaces, our range of accommodation to every family member and our location.
We have indoor, outdoor, intimate and large spaces areas to celebrate every part of an event. Our tiny pub serving local and our own drinks has to be everyone’s favourite!
Every aspect of our accommodation has been considered to give our guests the most relaxing and enjoyable stay. Traditional comforts in the Georgian farmhouse to simple luxuries lighting fires in our tented accommodation.

Which weddings stand out for you – any weird or wonderful ones?
Every wedding has its moments. Ceremonies in the quarry are special, late nights in the pub have been hilarious, dining in the cedar barn is magical when daylight starts to fade and fairy lights begin to twinkle.
We’ve seen some fantastic decorations and love couples bringing their own style to the farm’s blank canvas.
Have you ever had to save the day?
We’re experts in re-writing table plans!
Oh yes – a special skill! Do you have a favourite season or a particular theme or time of year that you think works best for your venue?
Early and late summer our are favourites, May in bloom and dusky summers provide fresh dewy mornings and great weather.
How flexible is your service and what are you licensed for?
We proudly do all our catering onsite with extensive menu choices keeping food mileage to a minimum. As part of our service, we offer event planning from the day of arrival to departure. We are licensed for civil ceremonies in a number of our locations and we can help plan humanist ceremonies too.
Can you give us the heads up on some of your favourite suppliers?
We have books of every supplier you could think of. Most of our favourites and most that we use are local.
