You can show your wedding guests exactly what it is you want, whether that’s a collection of individual items from independent shops or money towards one expensive gift such as a new sofa, a work of art, a vintage campervan or a honeymoon experience.

You collect cash contributions towards gifts direct to spend where and when you choose.
Free to set up: You don’t need to sign up to try out Patchwork and there’s no upfront fee to use our site so you can set up your gift list without any commitment. We simply charge a 3.6% commission when you start collecting funds.
Direct access to funds: Patchwork does not hold your funds. Instead contributions from guests go into your PayPal account and/or chosen bank account via Stripe giving you direct access to your money when you need it. You can compare partner fees here. If you have a promotion code to waive our fee, partner fees still apply.
Independent of suppliers: Because Patchwork is not tied to any particular supplier you are free to spend your collected funds when, where and how you like.
Cash in any currency: You can receive Patchwork funds from friends and family all over the world and can set the currency you’d like to receive your funds in when creating your patchwork. Patchwork supports all currencies supported by our global payment partners PayPal and Stripe.
Unique Patchwork experience: Our platform lets you show your wedding guests the one thing you really want, so they can choose what they’d like to treat you to. You can go in to as much detail as you like using your own words and images so your friends and family will feel really involved, excited and able to share in your plans.
Style-led and super flexible design: Patchwork has been beautifully designed with completely customisable templates and complementary colours so it’s not going to clash with the invitations and/or wedding website that you’ve so carefully chosen.
100s of wedding registry templates: Our huge collection of beautiful gift list templates make it super easy to set up your list. If you choose to customise one of our readymade patchworks, all you need to do is add your own title and welcome message and link a payment method and you’re ready to go. Alternatively, if you want to make your gift list from scratch, you can. Just choose images from our gallery or upload your own photos to represent the one thing you want.
Keep track of contributions: You can set email notifications to alert you when someone buys a piece of your patchwork. You can also keep track of contributions (and download a spreadsheet) from your account containing everyone’s name and email address, what they’ve bought and how much they’ve spent, as well as their home address if they choose to leave it.
Messages from friends: Friends and family can leave a public message with their gift which will show up on your patchwork page along with a photo of themselves if they choose to leave one. You can set your messages to public or private and send replies to individuals and groups of friends from your account.
Saying thank you: When creating your patchwork you can prepare an instant thank you message that everyone will receive when they contribute towards your patchwork. Then once you’re enjoying your gift or experience you can upload photos to your account to send along with a thank you message to all the people who funded each specific bit. You can also send printed thank you cards with our print partner Moo, who offer all Patchwork couples a 20% discount on their services.
If you’re ready to get started, it couldn’t be easier to set up your Patchwork wedding registry. There’s no need to sign up in order to create a patchwork, so you’re free to have a play around and explore your options.
You can either choose to customise one of our brilliant template registries or start your own from scratch. Once you’ve chosen, you can add your own introductory description. This is a great way to welcome your wedding guests to your page and tell them about what it is you’ve chosen to fund and why. You can also add your own banner image to personalise your registry.
If you choose to customise a template registry you can leave the rest of the page as it is, or you can edit item descriptions, images and prices, and you can also add new items. If you decide to create your own gift list from scratch, you can upload all of your own images of the items or experiences you want to fund. Then you can give each item a description and a price.
You’ll be able to set a quantity limit for each item, so if you’d like 200 of one thing and 2 of another, that’s up to you. There is no limit to how many items you can add, so get your thinking caps on and decide what you’d like to include.
Then, when you’re ready to share your gift list, all you need to do is choose your own unique URL and link your PayPal or Stripe account so you can collect funds direct.
You’ll also get the opportunity to compose a thank you message that will appear when one of your loved ones sends you a gift. Then you’re ready to share! You can print invitation inserts with our partner MOO, send the URL out via email, or link up your page to your wedding website.
It makes sense to include your gift list when you send out your invitations, so prepare them all at the same time and then post everything at once. You can just write your URL in your invitations or include a gift insert. And if you have a wedding website it’s a good idea to include a link to your gift registry there too.
Your guests can go direct to your gift list using the URL you give them, or they can search for it on our homepage. They won’t need to create an account with us or use a special code to access your registry, all they need is your name and/or email address.
Once on your gift list page they can choose the items they want to fund and add them to their basket, then they can leave you a little note along with a photo of themselves that will appear on your message board.
Your guests can pay using credit/debit card or PayPal, and their funds will be transferred directly and immediately into your PayPal or Stripe account.
Once their gift has been sent, they will see your message of thanks.
All cash contributions will go directly to your PayPal or Stripe account for you to spend when and where you like.
Whilst your guests can’t see what each other have bought, you can. In your Patchwork account you will have a record of following:
You will be alerted by email when anyone buys you a gift. But you can also set your notifications to receive alerts daily, weekly, monthly or never.
You can download a CSV of the information in your account, so you can see everything in a spreadsheet.
You can contact your guests individually or as a group and send thank you messages along with photos of you enjoying your gift. Sending thanks via email is free and if you want to print thank you cards we can offer you a 20% discount on printed postcards with our partner, print partner, Moo.
